ATTENDEEĀ CANCELLATION POLICY
The Making Love Retreat is a boutique retreat designed to provide a deeply transformative experience. To maintain the intimacy and quality of our retreats, we limit attendance to a maximum of 10 couples.
We understand that life is unpredictable, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. While we will always approach cancellations with compassion and assess each request individually, our policy reflects the need to balance fairness with the commitments required to run these special events.
By paying a deposit or the full cost of a service offered by Janet McGeever, you agree to the following cancellation policy.
Participant Cancellation or TransferĀ
If you need to cancel or transfer your retreat booking, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing [email protected]
Transfers:
You may request to transfer your booking to another retreat within two (2) years of your original registration, subject to availability. Transfers are subject to an administration fee based on the time remaining before the retreat:

More than 3 months before the retreat start date: $300 fee

1-3 months before the retreat start date: $500 fee

Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: Non-transferable
We will make every effort to accommodate your transfer request, but availability is not guaranteed.
Refunds:
Our refund policy exceeds the obligations set out in theĀ Australian Consumer Law. Refunds will incur an administration fee, depending on the time of cancellation, calculated from the date we receive your written notice:

1-3 months before the retreat start date: $800 admin fee

Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: Non-refundable
Late Arrivals & Early Departures
To ensure you receive the full benefit of the retreat, we encourage all attendees to be present for the entire duration. Unfortunately, we cannot offer credits or partial refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Event Cancellation by Janet McGeever
In the unlikely event that Janet McGeever cancels a retreat, we will notify you promptly in writing and, if close to the retreat date, via phone. You will have the option to:

Transfer your full payment to another event or online course of your choice

Receive a full refund
Please note that Janet McGeever is not responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to a canceled retreat, weather events, or illness, such as airline tickets, accommodation, loss of work, or other related costs. We strongly recommend considering travel insurance to protect your investment.
This policy reflects our commitment to providing an intimate and transformative experience while aligning with Australian Consumer Law and the logistical requirements of event planning.
